In More detail:
** Chord & Scale Database **
This easy-to-use, comprehensive tool features pretty much every chord and musical scale/mode out there. Scales and chords are selected on the same screen, and displayed on an onscreen piano. Flick the "Only Chords in Current Scale Switch" and the chord selector will display all the chords compatible with the currently selected scale.
Piano can be tapped once to hear the current chord, and twice to hear the scale.
Swiping right on the piano allows you to save the current chord to a song.
** Landscape Mode **
In landscape mode, select keys on the onscreen piano by tapping them. Piano Wiz finds the scales and chords that match the selected keys.
** User Songs **
This feature allows you to easily create and edit your own chord progressions. You can then use the apps practice section to practice playing the chords, guitar hero style, on your piano or keyboard.
** Practice **
This section of the app works a bit like Guitar Hero. Choose to practice either randomized chords from a scale or one of your saved chord progressions. To practice, simply place your device on the note stand on your piano or keyboard, and play the chords that descend from the top of the sreen. The onscreen piano shows you how to play each chord, and a metronome beat sets the rhythm at a BPM of your choice. When practicing scales, you can easily adjust the difficulty of the chords to your skill level.
** Chord Quiz **
The chord quiz is a great way to improve your recognition of chords, both visually and by ear. Chords are played back and displayed on the onscreen piano, and your job is to select the correct chord from four options. You have to minutes to identify as many chords as possible, and the difficulty increases along with your skill level. To up the difficulty a notch, hide the onscreen piano and go by sound alone. You can also choose to practice identifying different chord inversions.
